DLP Purview Engineer

About the role

Join Luminor as a DLP Purview Engineer, responsible for protecting sensitive data across the organization using Microsoft Purview solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Support and maintain Microsoft Purview Data Loss Prevention (DLP) solutions.
• Implement, administer, monitor, and continuously improve DLP controls.
• Identify, investigate, and address data protection risks and policy violations.
• Collaborate with Security Operations, Engineering, and other technology teams.
• Review and challenge existing controls and processes with a security‑first mindset.
• Participate in troubleshooting, incident investigations, and root‑cause analysis.
• Assist in defining and improving DLP policies, processes, and operational procedures.
• Maintain documentation and share knowledge within the team.

Required profile

• Experience in cybersecurity, IT operations, system administration, or related technical field.
• Interest in data protection, information security, and modern security technologies.
• Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and proactive problem‑solving.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
• Fluent English (spoken and written) for a Pan‑Baltic team.

Required skills

• Microsoft Purview (including Data Loss Prevention, Information Protection, Insider Risk Management).
• Microsoft 365 security technologies.
• Windows administration and endpoint management.
• Experience with Security Operations Center (SOC) monitoring.
• Knowledge of data classification, information protection, and regulatory compliance.

• Gross salary of €2,750‑€4,130 per month, based on experience.
