About the role

The Procurement Planning Manager will be responsible for consolidating and analysing the company's purchasing needs, creating and maintaining an up‑to‑date procurement plan, and ensuring its execution in line with contractual price thresholds.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and analyse procurement requirements, update the procurement plan and monitor compliance.
• Enter procurement‑related data into external electronic systems (EIS, IUB PVS).
• Assess procurement risks and market fluctuations, develop mitigation strategies to ensure stable supply and competitive pricing.
• Perform statistical and price analysis, prepare reports, and develop a management information portal for procurement analytics.
• Prepare cost justification material, compile forecasts, propose purchases and ensure contract continuity.
• Promote digitalisation and automation of procurement processes, improving data quality and transparency for long‑term material planning.

Required profile

• Higher education, preferably in economics, finance, management or engineering.
• Minimum 2 years experience in procurement planning or management for public or corporate buyers, with knowledge of CPV codes, need aggregation, contract‑price control and related regulations.
• Understanding of inventory planning and forecasting.
• Strong analytical mindset, ability to identify problems and propose solutions.
• Excellent communication, collaboration and high sense of responsibility.

Required skills

• Professional proficiency in MS Excel (Power BI).
• Experience with database creation, large‑data processing, visualisation and automation.
• Ability to quickly learn and navigate IT systems.
