Head of Treasury Front Office

About the role

Luminor is seeking an experienced Treasury Front‑Office professional to lead its front‑office activities and manage a small team of Treasury Market Dealers. The Head of Treasury Front Office will drive investment, liquidity and risk‑management strategies across fixed income, FX, interest‑rate derivatives and central‑bank operations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead Treasury Front Office operations, setting priorities, ensuring high‑quality execution and maintaining robust controls.
• Manage bond portfolio decisions, allocation, liquidity monitoring, yield and spread analysis while adhering to internal limits.
• Oversee market transactions including FX, money‑market instruments, interest‑rate swaps, repos and other liquidity tools.
• Coordinate Luminor’s participation in central‑bank market operations and collateral optimisation.
• Support hedge‑accounting processes, ensuring accurate valuation, documentation and cross‑departmental P&L reconciliation.
• Act as Product Owner for Treasury Front Office products, driving business, process, system and control enhancements.
• Lead or contribute to cross‑functional Treasury projects, liaising with Risk, Finance, Accounting, Operations, Legal, Compliance and IT.
• Ensure all activities comply with mandates, internal policies, regulatory expectations and market best practices.

Required profile

• Proven experience in Treasury front‑office functions, preferably within a banking environment.
• Demonstrated people‑management skills with a track record of developing market dealers.
• Strong understanding of bond valuation, mark‑to‑market, and fixed‑income portfolio impacts.
• Ability to work collaboratively across multiple departments and stakeholders.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Bloomberg and related trading/auction platforms.
