Head of Business Intelligence & Data Warehouse

About the role

We are looking for a senior leader to drive our Business Intelligence and Data Warehouse strategy across a fast‑growing international FinTech group. The Head of BI & DW will shape the data architecture, mentor engineers and deliver analytics solutions that enable data‑driven decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to data engineers on architecture, pipeline design and performance optimisation.
• Set team priorities, manage delivery planning and allocate resources.
• Oversee data infrastructure, including data warehouses and databases.
• Design, develop and implement BI tools and analytical dashboards.
• Promote BI and analytics adoption to improve business performance.
• Define and implement scalable, secure data architecture, ETL/ELT processes and data validation frameworks.
• Stay current on data‑warehousing, engineering and BI trends and evaluate new technologies.
• Collaborate proactively with business stakeholders and technology teams to meet reporting needs.

Required profile

• Higher education in IT, Computer Science or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in data architecture, engineering and BI delivery.
• Proven leadership in managing technical teams and agile environments.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
