About the role

IKEA Latvia is looking for a Finance Controller to support the company’s financial stability and growth. The role combines strategic thinking, analytical skills and teamwork to uncover the truth behind the numbers.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare management and financial reports within set deadlines and quality standards.
• Participate in monthly and year‑end closing processes and financial reporting.
• Review and analyse the company’s financial indicators.
• Work closely with the Head of Finance.
• Collaborate with other departments to achieve business objectives.
• Improve financial processes and tools.
• Review and implement financial control procedures.
• Maintain and enhance monthly reporting for business units.
• Ensure compliance with local and international financial standards and policies.

Required profile

• Higher education in finance, accounting, financial management or business administration.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a finance controller or analyst in an international company.
• Ability to plan, analyse, draw conclusions and present findings.
• Strong accuracy and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Fluent Latvian and English.
