Finance Specialist

About the role

Ace Alliance is seeking a Finance Specialist to support its international finance team. The role focuses on accurate accounting, compliance with Latvian and international standards, and coordination across multiple group entities. Fluency in Latvian and English and experience with crypto‑related transactions are essential.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review journal entries, general‑ledger reconciliations and financial statements using QuickBooks.
• Assist with month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end closing activities and ensure GAAP/IFRS compliance.
• Manage accounts payable/receivable processes and perform bank reconciliations.
• Maintain internal controls, monitor budgeting rules and suggest process improvements.
• Prepare documentation for annual audits in Malta and Latvia and liaise directly with external auditors.
• Communicate with local Latvian accountants and group‑level finance teams in English.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and financial performance analysis as needed.

Required profile

• Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of professional accounting or financial reporting experience in an international or group environment.
• Strong knowledge of Latvian accounting standards, GAAP/IFRS and tax regulations.
• Proven experience preparing audits and working with external auditors.
• Understanding of cryptocurrency accounting and ability to track crypto transactions.

Required skills

• QuickBooks (or similar accounting software).
• Microsoft Excel.
• SAP, 1C, or Tilde Jumis.
