Feedstock Manager

About the role

HoSt Group is seeking a Feedstock Manager to own the feedstock supply chain for its biomethane plants in Latvia. You will be responsible for sourcing agricultural and organic feedstocks, negotiating contracts, coordinating logistics, and ensuring quality and timely delivery to the plants.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with farmers, agricultural companies, and other feedstock suppliers.
• Negotiate commercial terms, manage supply agreements, and monitor volumes, delivery conditions and pricing.
• Plan feedstock flows considering seasonality, harvesting periods, storage capacity and plant consumption.
• Coordinate logistics, monitor inventories, and ensure continuous supply throughout the year.
• Monitor incoming feedstock quality, arrange sampling and laboratory analysis, and work with plant teams to optimise feedstock mix.
• Track feedstock costs, contribute to budgets and forecasts, and maintain accurate records of volumes, prices and contracts.

Required profile

• Higher education in agriculture, agribusiness, logistics, engineering, environmental sciences or a related field.
• Experience in agriculture, biomass, biogas/biomethane, food processing, waste management, procurement or supply chain management.
• Strong knowledge of the Latvian agricultural sector and an existing network of local suppliers is preferred.
• Excellent negotiation and relationship‑management abilities.
• Ability to balance price, quality, methane potential, logistics and sustainability considerations.
• Willingness to travel regularly across Latvia and a valid driving licence.
• Fluent Latvian and good command of English.
