DevOps Engineer – Cloud Native CI/CD

About the role

We are building a new API ART team in Riga to develop and operate The Frame, a unified platform for Java/Spring Boot micro‑services. As a DevOps Engineer you will work on cloud‑native services, ensure they are secure, observable and continuously delivered.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and support cloud‑native micro‑services on AWS, Kubernetes and Cloud Foundry.
• Design, implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automate deployments.
• Implement testing, monitoring, logging and observability solutions.
• Own services end‑to‑end following the “You Build It, You Run It” principle.
• Participate in backlog refinement, sprint planning and coordinate delivery with product owners in Switzerland.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications or related field (preferred).
• Strong understanding of micro‑services architecture and REST API development.
• Willingness to take full ownership of the development lifecycle, from design to production support.
• Open‑minded, motivated and curious about new technologies.

Required skills

• Java 17+ and Spring Boot
• Python
• SQL/NoSQL databases (MongoDB, MariaDB)
• Git, Maven, GitLab CI/CD
• AWS services, Kubernetes, Cloud Foundry
• AI coding assistants such as GitHub Copilot or Kiro
• Familiarity with RabbitMQ and Kafka (nice to have)
