About the role

Moller Auto Baltic is looking for a Business Support Accountant to join its finance and accounting team in Riga. You will be responsible for handling accounting documents, cash operations, and supporting the group’s financial processes for the automotive dealership network.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and record company accounting documents in line with Latvian legislation and group accounting principles.
• Post cash transactions, control cash handling, and prepare reports for the State Revenue Service (VID).
• Process incoming invoices and delivery notes, manage posting and control.
• Record vehicle purchase and sale transactions and monitor sales activities.
• Reconcile accounts with debtors and creditors, monitor balances.
• Execute month‑end closing procedures and produce related reports.
• Archive documents according to legal requirements.
• Assist the accounting department and participate in financial audits.

Required profile

• Relevant education in economics, finance or accounting.
• Knowledge of Latvian accounting and tax legislation.
• Strong command of Latvian and good English language skills.
• High sense of responsibility, accuracy and ability to meet deadlines.
• Previous experience as an accountant is preferred.
