Business Performance Analyst

About the role

We are seeking a Business Performance Analyst to join the Northern Europe Controlling team of our Packaging Solutions Business Unit. The role is hybrid and can be based in Jönköping, Stockholm, Lahti, Helsinki or Riga. You will work at the intersection of finance, analytics and technology, turning data and AI opportunities into concrete business value.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse financial and business data to spot trends, drivers, risks and improvement opportunities.
• Support stakeholders and controllers with profitability analysis, scenario modelling and decision‑making.
• Identify and implement AI, automation and digital tools to boost efficiency and insight generation.
• Research external best practices and emerging technologies, translating them into practical applications.
• Act as a bridge between business needs and technical solutions, ensuring measurable value.
• Collaborate with IT and data teams to design and improve datasets, analytical models and reporting capabilities.
• Build, maintain and enhance dashboards, reporting and decision‑support tools.
• Ensure data quality, consistency and a reliable single source of truth.
• Communicate findings and recommendations clearly across the organisation.

Required profile

• Relevant academic background in finance, economics, engineering, analytics or a related field.
• Experience in business analysis, finance, controlling, performance management or analytics.
• Strong interest and proven experience in leveraging AI, automation and modern technologies.
• Excellent problem‑solving abilities and stakeholder management skills.
