Business Development & Product Lead – Europe

About the role

We are seeking a Business Development & Product Lead to help launch a new banking and financial‑services business across Europe. The role blends market research, product creation, strategy, partnership development and hands‑on execution in a fast‑moving, founder‑mindset environment.

Key responsibilities

• Research European markets, competitors, customer needs and product opportunities.
• Support assessment of jurisdictions for a banking licence and coordinate with legal, regulatory and industry advisors.
• Identify and engage potential partners, vendors and industry experts.
• Develop, validate and iterate new banking and financial products, starting with deposits, payments and consumer credit.
• Prepare market analyses, business cases and decision‑making materials.
• Assist with company formation and market‑entry activities, including travel for meetings and research.

Required profile

• Founder mindset – comfortable working beyond narrowly defined responsibilities and driving ambiguous problems to concrete results.
• Experience in banking, fintech, product management, business development, consulting or early‑stage technology companies.
• Legal right to work in the country of residence and willingness to be based in Riga or elsewhere in the EU.

Required skills

• Proficiency with AI tools such as Claude and Codex.
• Strong Git usage and AI‑assisted coding capabilities.
• Experience building automations, research tools, integrations or lightweight workflows.
• Familiarity with MCP‑based tools.
