Brand Communications Manager

About the role

The Brand Communications Manager will lead the development and execution of brand communication strategies for Žurnāls Ir and its associated media platforms. Working in a hybrid setting from Riga, you will ensure the brand’s visual and verbal identity is consistent across all touchpoints.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement integrated marketing and communication campaigns for print, digital, audio, and social channels.
• Manage brand messaging to maintain a cohesive identity across all products and platforms.
• Collaborate with editorial, marketing, and sales teams to drive audience growth, subscriptions, and partner initiatives.
• Monitor campaign performance, analyse data, and adjust tactics based on feedback.
• Oversee public relations, media outreach, and reputation management activities.

Required profile

• Strong written and verbal communication skills with a focus on audience‑centric messaging.
• Proven experience in brand management, positioning, and integrated campaign execution.
• Background in strategic communications, storytelling, and aligning brand goals with organizational objectives.
• Knowledge of public relations, media outreach, and reputation management.
• Professional proficiency in Latvian; good English skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, public relations, journalism or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Excellent organizational abilities, attention to detail, and capacity to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Comfortable working in a hybrid environment, collaborating on‑site in Riga and remotely.
