About the role

Rimi Baltic is looking for a Baltic Transport Specialist to coordinate the movement of goods from warehouses to stores across the region. You will ensure efficient use of transport resources while supporting the company’s fast‑moving retail environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and organise daily deliveries from warehouse to retail outlets, optimising routes and vehicle utilisation.
• Adjust transport schedules in response to changing delivery windows and operational situations.
• Monitor the entire delivery process – loading, transit, and deadlines – and resolve any issues promptly.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external carriers to maintain clear, high‑quality communication.
• Control transport costs, verify invoices and track service quality.

Required profile

• Higher education in economics, transport, logistics or a related field.
• Minimum two years of experience in transport or logistics.
• Strong attention to detail, independence and a high sense of responsibility.
• Ability to work effectively in a team, communicate clearly and organise own workload.
• Good command of Latvian and English for collaboration with Baltic colleagues and system use.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office.
