Associate Clinical Team Lead (Remote)

About the role

We are hiring an Associate Clinical Team Lead for a permanent, remote position, with occasional travel for site visits and client meetings. In this role you will support the Clinical Team Lead (CTL) in managing clinical operations, provide direction and training to CRAs, and oversee operational aspects of CRA and site performance.

Key responsibilities

• Provide clinical trial operational oversight, ensuring adherence to protocols, timelines, and regulatory requirements.
• Support development and management of timelines, metrics, resourcing, and budgets for clinical operations.
• Facilitate stakeholder communication among clients, site staff, and internal teams, and proactively escalate issues.
• Assist with CRA training, onboarding, and performance feedback, fostering collaboration across teams.
• Support quality assurance activities, including protocol deviation review and on‑site compliance visits.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, nursing, pharmacy or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of clinical research experience in a CRO, pharmaceutical or biotech setting, including at least 2 years of on‑site monitoring.
• Proven leadership experience managing teams within a CRO or pharmaceutical environment.
• Strong knowledge of ICH‑GCP, regulatory requirements and clinical trial processes.

Required skills

• Experience with clinical trial management software (CTMS).
• Experience with electronic data capture (EDC) systems.
