AOG Desk Buyer & Material Planner

About the role
Join Norse Atlantic Airways as an AOG Desk Buyer & Material Planner, supporting the airline’s global operations from Riga. You will ensure that spare parts, tooling and materials are available for scheduled maintenance and unexpected AOG (Aircraft on Ground) situations, helping to keep the Boeing 787 fleet reliable and compliant.
Key responsibilities
- Liaise with engineering and planning teams in Oslo to support technical operations.
- Procure aircraft spares, tooling and materials for both scheduled maintenance and AOG incidents.
- Manage inventory movements and coordinate with freight forwarders.
- Handle contractual aspects related to procurement.
- Work on a rotational shift pattern to provide 24/7/365 coverage.
Required profile
- 2‑3 years of experience in aerospace supply chain, purchasing or material planning.
- Familiarity with aerospace technical documentation.
- Strong commercial acumen and problem‑solving abilities.
- Fluent written and spoken English.
Required skills
- Experience with AMOS or similar MRO/ERP systems.
- Knowledge of aerospace technical documentation.
- Proficiency in using ERP tools for procurement and inventory management.
