Senior Data Analytics and Visualization Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Data Analytics and Visualization Engineer to join our team of experts. You will work with clients across finance, telecom, media, insurance, oil & gas, pharma and other sectors, delivering advanced analytics solutions while enjoying the flexibility to work remotely from anywhere in Latvia or from our Riga office.

Key responsibilities

• Design and build advanced dashboards and reports using Power BI or Tableau.
• Collaborate with product owners to gather requirements, conduct demos and ensure stakeholder alignment.
• Create data models, perform data preparation, profiling and cleansing.
• Analyse business problems and technical environments to propose data‑driven solutions.
• Manage security and administration of the reporting environment.
• Participate in architecture and testing processes, adhering to best‑practice specifications.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience with Power BI or Tableau.
• Proficiency in Python and advanced SQL across MS SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL or PostgreSQL.
• Strong knowledge of data analytics, visualization concepts and report development.
• Understanding of data‑warehouse, data‑lake, staging and data‑security principles.
• Hands‑on experience delivering analytics solutions in AWS, Azure or GCP.
• Experience in agile environments (Scrum, Kanban) and familiarity with CI/CD practices.
• Upper‑intermediate English or higher.
