About the role

SIA Metalperformer is a metal processing company that designs, manufactures and assembles various metal structures, architectural elements and custom metal products. The company works with stainless steel, carbon steel and other alloys, offering services such as cutting, bending, welding, grinding and assembly. As a Metinātājs intern you will support the production team in daily tasks, learn to operate modern CAD software for product design, and gain hands‑on experience with the full metal‑fabrication workflow. During the internship you will be exposed to the full range of metalworking processes, from cutting and bending to welding and final assembly, and you will observe how technical drawings are translated into physical products using CAD tools. The position is part‑time, allowing you to combine the experience with studies. The internship runs until 15 October 2026 and is open to candidates interested in developing practical skills in metalworking and engineering.
