About the role

We are a world‑leading manufacturer of wood‑based panels with a 125‑year history and more than 50 plants worldwide. As a Mechanical Engineer (Mechanic), you will ensure the reliable and efficient operation of our production machinery.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect production equipment regularly to detect wear, damage and maintenance needs.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance actions, equipment condition and parts inventory.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical problems, escalating major issues to senior technicians when required.
• Collaborate with the maintenance team to coordinate tasks, share knowledge and support repair projects.

Required profile

• Higher technical education (e.g., engineering degree).
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a mechanic; experience in OSB/PB production is a plus.
• Strong problem‑solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
