Accountant – Finance & Control (Permanent)

About the role

Join the Finance & Control department of Circle K Business Centre in Riga and support the full accounting and financial reporting cycle for Circle K’s European operations. You will work within a global finance organization, handling journal entries, reconciliations and audit support while contributing to continuous process improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, check and post journal entries based on information from business units and partners.
• Perform account reconciliations, analyse discrepancies and resolve errors.
• Execute period‑end closing procedures and handle audit requests.
• Manage rebate‑related administrative tasks, perform analysis and resolve related discrepancies.
• Document and execute process controls to ensure financial compliance.
• Support department projects and ad‑hoc assignments from the manager.

Required profile

• Previous experience in accounting or finance.
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or current studies in one of these fields.
• Fluent English for communication with European business units.
• Precise, analytical, organized and solution‑oriented mindset.
• Self‑motivated team player with good communication skills.

Required skills

• Experience with ERP systems, preferably JD Edwards (JDE).
