Technical Support Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a passionate Technical Support Specialist to provide top‑tier assistance for our innovative robotic solutions used in wind turbine maintenance. You will work from our modern plant and offices in Riga, diagnosing and resolving issues remotely and supporting field teams.

Key responsibilities

• Review and process technical support tickets, prioritising asset‑offline and downtime‑critical incidents.
• Perform remote diagnostics using symptoms, asset history, photos, videos, error messages, configuration data, schematics and manuals.
• Diagnose electronic, electrical, electromechanical and communication faults in robotic systems and drones.
• Guide field teams through troubleshooting steps, verify results and implement safe work‑arounds or repairs.
• Leverage existing solutions for recurring issues and test new resolution paths for novel problems.
• Escalate complex cases to engineers or managers with comprehensive summaries.
• Maintain up‑to‑date ticket status, document diagnostics and resolutions, and contribute to the support knowledge base.

Required profile

• Education in electronics, electrical engineering, mechatronics, robotics or equivalent hands‑on experience.
• Strong understanding of electrical circuits, PCBs, embedded systems, motors, power supplies, sensors, relays, contactors, MCBs and RCCBs.
• Good knowledge of LAN networking and confidence using multimeters, Ethernet testers, soldering tools and RJ45 crimpers.
• Basic familiarity with drone components such as batteries, power distribution, motors, ESCs, flight controllers, sensors and communication links.
• Ability to read schematics, component documentation, system diagrams and technical manuals.
• Excellent logical thinking, systematic troubleshooting approach and strict adherence to safety limits.
• Fluent written and spoken English and Latvian; Spanish is a plus.
