System Support Engineer

About the role

Join Waypoint’s Support Team as a System Support Engineer and help ensure seamless IT services for users across Scandinavia. You will combine strong analytical abilities with hands‑on debugging to keep critical systems running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑line support to business key users, handling production incidents and support requests.
• Investigate and resolve errors in messaging services and batch‑job failures.
• Troubleshoot application issues, document problems and their resolutions.
• Participate in Incident and Problem Management processes.
• Coach and guide team members in areas of expertise.

Required profile

• Strong analytical skills to research, correlate data and identify root causes.
• Proficiency in C# debugging and solid knowledge of MS SQL.
• Willingness to work directly with system users and resolve production issues.
• Excellent communication in English and a proactive, initiative‑driven attitude.
