Software Engineering Intern at AI Startup

About the role

We are an early‑stage AI startup building a next‑generation hiring intelligence and automation platform. We seek a talented university student to join as a Software Engineering Intern / Working Student, working directly with the founders to build real product features while studying.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and improve frontend and backend product features using React/Next.js and Python/FastAPI.
• Rapidly prototype new ideas, integrate LLMs, AI agents and automation workflows.
• Implement API integrations, work with Supabase for database, authentication and backend services.
• Manage code and development workflows through GitHub and deploy to Cloudflare infrastructure.
• Test, debug and enhance live functionality, taking features through the full development cycle.
• Contribute to product design and UX, creating intuitive user experiences.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in Computer Science, Software Engineering, AI, Data Science or a related field.
• Technically talented, comfortable with Python and/or JavaScript/TypeScript, and interested in AI/LLMs.
• Ability to work independently, solve problems quickly and thrive in a fast‑moving startup environment.
• Product‑minded with a strong interest in UX and usability.
• Highly driven, curious and entrepreneurial.
