Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join Mirantis’ cloud development and operations team. The role focuses on designing, building and operating AI‑focused infrastructure on the CNCF ecosystem, especially on NVIDIA‑certified hardware, while ensuring reliability, security and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with geographically distributed teams to solve technical challenges and improve processes.
• Develop, implement, maintain and troubleshoot cloud and AI infrastructure based on open‑source software.
• Gather and refine technical requirements with stakeholders and optimise system performance, reliability and scalability.
• Troubleshoot, debug and resolve complex networking, storage and Kubernetes issues.
• Participate in code reviews and drive AI‑driven automation across the DevOps lifecycle.
• Transfer knowledge to customers during delivery phases.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional DevOps experience with strong focus on cloud and infrastructure technologies such as Kubernetes and/or OpenStack.
• Hands‑on experience with high‑performance data‑center processing, networking and storage.
• Proficiency in Golang and working knowledge of Python or JavaScript.
• Deep understanding of distributed systems, micro‑services architecture and CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent problem‑solving, debugging and customer‑facing communication skills in English.
• Ability to lead technical tasks and travel up to 25% internationally.
