Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

About the role

Redwire Defense Tech is looking for a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to ensure that all products meet the highest quality standards throughout the production lifecycle. You will work closely with design, manufacturing and cross‑functional teams to drive continuous improvement and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with teams to analyse problems, determine root causes and implement corrective actions quickly.
• Define and maintain quality control plans, work instructions and audit procedures.
• Monitor product and process conformance from design through delivery.
• Conduct product and process audits and manage non‑conformance documentation.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, EN9100, ISO 14001 and other applicable regulations.
• Communicate findings, escalations and improvement proposals across all organisational levels.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electronic engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a Quality Assurance role within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• High attention to detail and ability to work independently in a dynamic setting.
• Fluent in Latvian and English, both written and spoken.
