Senior Consultant – Business Consulting (Public & Private Sectors)

About the role

EY is looking for a Senior Consultant to join its Consulting team and work on large‑scale transformation projects across public and private sectors. You will collaborate with decision‑makers in industries such as healthcare, education, security, transportation, energy, and banking, helping organisations improve services, strengthen data‑driven decision‑making, and redesign operating models.

Key responsibilities

• Support business consulting projects for public and private clients, focusing on service improvement and institutional capacity building.
• Collect client inputs, perform analysis, develop solutions, and prepare deliverables.
• Conduct business research and contribute to data‑analytics‑driven storytelling.
• Assist in redesigning operating models to enable effective organisational transformation.
• Guide and mentor junior team members, providing feedback and fostering their growth.

Required profile

• Degree in business, economics, finance, public administration, management, data analytics, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in analytical, consulting, research, or project‑based roles, preferably with business process analysis or public‑sector projects.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Latvian and English.
• Strong analytical mindset, structured problem‑solving approach, and resilience.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
