Senior Accountant

About the role

The Senior Accountant will own day‑to‑day and period‑end accounting for one of our international entities, ensuring accurate reconciliations, expense controls, and timely close processes while keeping the organization audit‑ready.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily and monthly reconciliations across bank accounts, PayPal, credit cards, petty cash, inventory, accrued, prepaid, fixed assets and landed cost accounts.
• Manage expense tracking and controls, including Navan expenses and American Express follow‑ups with proper documentation.
• Support month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end close, handling payroll accruals, inventory offsets and reporting packages for headquarters.
• Coordinate tax filings and audits, providing required documentation to internal and external auditors.
• Own intercompany transactions and payments, including reconciliations, bank payment initiation and approval support.

Required profile

• Degree in accounting or a related field with solid foundation in accounting principles.
• Full‑cycle accounting experience covering reconciliations, month‑end close and reporting.
• Fluency in English.
• Experience with US GAAP is a strong plus.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel skills.
• QuickBooks (or similar accounting system) proficiency.
• Knowledge of US GAAP.
