Security Lead – Software Delivery

About the role

Swedbank is looking for a Security Lead to drive security strategy and secure software delivery across its Orchestration Platforms. You will embed security into the SDLC, CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code, ensuring security is built‑in from the start.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and continuously evolve the security strategy for the Orchestration Platforms offering.
• Embed security into the SDLC, CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code practices.
• Partner with Product Owners, Tech Leads, engineers, architects and security stakeholders to identify risks and prioritize initiatives.
• Define, implement and continuously improve security capabilities, controls and processes while measuring progress and raising security maturity.

Required profile

• Strong experience in application security, DevSecOps or cloud security with a proven track record of embedding security into software development.
• Technical expertise in GitHub, secure software delivery and cloud‑based environments, preferably including Kubernetes.
• Background as a software engineer, preferably in Java‑based environments.
• Ability to define security roadmaps, prioritize improvements and establish meaningful security metrics.
• Pragmatic, hands‑on, delivery‑focused mindset with strong communication skills.
• Willingness to actively use AI tools to increase efficiency and drive innovation.
