SAP MDG-BP Consultant

About the role

Fusion Consulting, a global Life Sciences business and IT consultancy, is looking for an experienced SAP MDG Business Partner (BP) Consultant in Riga. The role supports an SAP transformation program and requires hands-on SAP MDG configuration, involvement in deployment activities and a good understanding of integrations between SAP MDG Business Partner and third-party systems.

Key responsibilities

• Configure and support SAP MDG-BP solutions for Customer and Vendor master data.
• Support Business Partner, Customer and Vendor master data processes and requirements.
• Perform hands-on SAP MDG configuration in the Business Partner area.
• Support deployment activities, including testing, cutover, go-live and post-go-live support.
• Integrate SAP MDG Business Partner data with SAP and third-party systems.
• Analyze and resolve functional, configuration and integration issues.
• Work with business, technical and integration teams to turn requirements into SAP MDG solutions.
• Support testing, defect resolution and validation of configured solutions.
• Prepare and maintain functional and configuration documentation.

Required profile

• Strong hands-on experience with SAP MDG, specifically MDG-BP.
• Proven hands-on experience with SAP MDG-BP configuration.
• Experience supporting deployment, cutover, go-live and post-go-live activities.
• Good understanding of Business Partner data structures and Customer/Vendor master data processes.
• Ability to work effectively with business, functional, technical and integration teams.

Required skills

• Strong experience with Customer and Vendor master data and related Business Partner processes.
• Understanding of SAP MDG-BP integration with third-party systems.
• Testing, troubleshooting and resolution of functional and integration issues.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
