Salesforce DevOps / Release Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Salesforce DevOps / Release Engineer to join a global EU project with one of Accenture's long‑term clients. The role involves leading Salesforce deployments, release management and CI/CD processes while supporting ongoing application maintenance.

Key responsibilities

• Own and execute Salesforce deployments, releases and hotfixes across environments.
• Manage GitHub, GitHub Actions, Salesforce CLI (SF CLI / SFDX) and Metadata API‑based CI/CD processes.
• Coordinate Pull Requests and release scope, troubleshoot deployment issues and work closely with developers and the client’s DevOps team.
• Support regular Salesforce application maintenance and AMS activities between releases.
• Continuously improve deployment automation, release processes and CI/CD reliability.
• Act as the technical point of contact for Salesforce deployment and release topics.

Required profile

• 5+ years of hands‑on Salesforce experience, preferably in enterprise environments.
• Strong practical experience with Salesforce DevOps, release management and CI/CD.
• Proven ability to independently manage Salesforce deployments and releases.
• Strong knowledge of GitHub, GitHub Actions, Salesforce CLI (SF CLI / SFDX) and Metadata API.
• Good understanding of Salesforce metadata, dependencies and deployment troubleshooting.
• Good knowledge of Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.
• Experience working in an Agile / Scrum environment.
• Strong English communication skills and ability to collaborate with developers, DevOps teams and client stakeholders.
• Willingness to occasionally support evening/weekend releases when required.
