Project Manager – Hardware Development

About the role

Redwire Corporation is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead hardware product development projects from concept to production. The role involves coordinating cross‑functional teams and ensuring projects align with the product roadmap and business objectives. The ideal candidate combines hands‑on project management experience with a solid engineering background.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage hardware product development projects from concept through to mass production.
• Plan, execute, and monitor project timelines, budgets, risks, and overall performance.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams including engineering, manufacturing, procurement, and quality.
• Prepare regular status reports for management and stakeholders.
• Organise and lead project meetings, document decisions, and ensure smooth information flow.
• Identify risks proactively and implement mitigation strategies.

Required profile

• Higher education in Industrial, Automotive, or Mechanical Engineering (mandatory).
• 3+ years proven practical experience as a Project Manager in hardware development projects.
• Strong understanding of the hardware product development lifecycle from design and prototyping to validation and mass production.
• Experience managing cross‑functional technical teams.
• Ability to plan, prioritize, and deliver projects on time and within scope.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent organisational and leadership abilities.
• High level of responsibility, attention to detail, and a structured approach.
• Fluent in Latvian and English (spoken and written) for effective communication with international stakeholders.
