Product Development Coordinator

About the role

Wigiwama is expanding from children’s soft‑furniture into a full family interior brand and needs a Product Development Coordinator to turn early‑stage ideas into market‑ready products. You will work closely with the product visionary, managing the whole development cycle from concept to prototype.

Key responsibilities

• Translate early‑stage ideas, mood boards and references into clear, executable product briefs.
• Source, vet and manage outsourced manufacturers, initially focusing on wooden furniture and soft home textiles.
• Run projects end‑to‑end, from concept through working prototype, keeping timelines realistic.
• Apply a natural eye for design and quality, without a formal design background.
• Build a direct working relationship with the product visionary.

Required profile

• 2+ years of project‑management experience.
• Hands‑on experience with OEM or external manufacturing partners (advantage).
• Ability to read technical drawings and understand materials, especially wood (plus textile knowledge).
• Strong process thinking with structured timelines and discipline.
• Experience in product costing and cost‑target‑driven development (advantage).
• Fluent in English and Latvian.
• Based in Riga and willing to travel to suppliers and the production site in Daugavpils.
