Nursing Assistant – Maternity Pathology & Delivery Department

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Nursing Assistant to join our Maternity Pathology and Delivery Department. You will work closely with senior nurses to ensure safe and compassionate care for patients throughout their hospital stay.

Key responsibilities

• Assist senior nurses with basic patient needs, including hygiene and comfort.
• Support admission and discharge processes for in‑patients.
• Carry out hygiene procedures and follow instructions for diagnostic and therapeutic interventions.
• Maintain accurate documentation as directed by senior staff.

Required profile

• Formal education as a nursing assistant.
• Registration in the national health personnel register.
• Experience in patient care is preferred.
• Proficiency in the official state language.
• Strong communication, responsibility and attention to detail.

Required skills

What we offer

• Shift options: 8‑hour, 12‑hour or 24‑hour rotations.
• Base hourly rate of €5.30 (junior) to €5.75 (assistant) gross.
• Average monthly gross salary from €1,114 (junior) to €1,208 (assistant) for a 168‑hour schedule, including night‑shift premiums.
