Middle Legal Counsel

About the role

GoMining is expanding its legal team and is looking for a versatile, sharp-minded lawyer to own a broad range of corporate and commercial work as the company scales across several jurisdictions. The role suits someone who thrives on autonomy, solves problems independently and works well in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment. It is fully remote.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate commercial contracts with partners, payment providers and counterparties
• Provide corporate support across a multi-jurisdictional group, including corporate documentation and entity-level changes
• Support legal review of new product launches and marketing materials
• Coordinate with external legal counsel across multiple countries
• Work with Product, Marketing, Finance and Operations teams on day-to-day legal matters
• Help develop and improve contract templates and internal legal processes
• Support risk identification and pre-litigation matters

Required profile

• 3-5+ years of legal experience, with a strong focus on corporate law and commercial contracts
• Experience at an international law firm (2+ years is a strong plus)
• Ability to think critically and handle non-standard situations independently
• Resilience and comfort with ambiguity, shifting priorities and a fast-moving environment
• Proactive approach, able to see tasks through without constant oversight
• English at B2/C1 level or above

Nice to have

• Experience in fintech, crypto, Web3 or payments
• Working knowledge of AML/KYC and GDPR
• Experience working across multiple jurisdictions at once
• Comfort using AI tools (LLMs) in daily legal work
