About the role

We are looking for a qualified nurse to join our Cardiac Surgery Department. The role involves providing comprehensive patient care before, during and after surgical procedures, ensuring safety and comfort throughout the treatment journey.

Key responsibilities

• Assess patients' health status and plan appropriate nursing care.
• Prepare patients for scheduled surgeries and administer prescribed medications.
• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures as ordered by physicians.
• Assist surgeons during various surgical interventions and ensure proper equipment setup.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to evaluate and improve patient care processes.
• Respond to emergency situations and provide urgent medical assistance when needed.

Required profile

• Completed nursing education and registration in the health professionals register.
• Preferably prior experience in a clinical setting.
• Strong command of the national language and conversational level in at least one foreign language.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• High sense of responsibility, precision, and ability to work independently and in a team.
• Capability to prioritize tasks and act effectively in urgent situations.
