Key Account Manager – Retail (Latvia)

About the role

This position drives business growth in the Latvian market by building strong partnerships with major retail customers such as Maxima, Rimi and Drogas. You will develop and execute joint business plans, align commercial strategies with brand objectives, and contribute to long‑term value for both the customers and the company.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement joint business and strategic customer plans for assigned brands.
• Manage and grow relationships with key retail accounts (Maxima, Rimi, Drogas) to meet commercial targets.
• Plan, launch and evaluate promotional and advertising activities using data and market insights.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance and other functions to ensure seamless execution.
• Monitor sales performance, identify opportunities and recommend actions for sustainable growth.
• Analyse market trends, competitor activity and consumer behaviour to support decision‑making.
• Lead negotiations and secure profitable agreements.
• Provide accurate reporting and regular performance reviews.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a sales, key account or similar commercial role.
• Fluent in Latvian and English with strong communication abilities.
• Adaptable, entrepreneurial mindset and willingness to learn new tools.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook.
