Junior Process Automation Specialist

About the role

Join a fast‑growing IT company in Riga as a Junior Process Automation Specialist. You will work in a start‑up atmosphere backed by a solid German parent, contributing to the design, implementation and continuous improvement of automated business processes.

Key responsibilities

• Support operation, monitoring and continuous improvement of automated business processes.
• Collaborate with senior colleagues to analyse business requirements and translate them into reliable automation workflows.
• Develop and adapt automation scripts and workflows within an enterprise automation platform.
• Monitor automated processes, investigate incidents and assist in root‑cause analysis.
• Support the rollout of new automation initiatives and emerging technologies.
• Learn to design, implement and maintain solutions using Automic (formerly UC4).
• Participate in an on‑call rotation after successful onboarding.

Required profile

• A degree in Information Technology or a related field, or comparable practical experience.
• Strong interest in automation, scripting and learning new technologies.
• Basic knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems.
• Familiarity with SQL, databases or Git is a plus.
• Interest in DevOps, IT Operations or enterprise software.
• Good English communication skills.
