Java Developer – Backend for UniFi Network

About the role

Ubiquiti’s Riga office is looking for a talented Java developer to join the UniFi Network team. You will work on the backend of the UniFi Network application, building efficient, scalable and maintainable features that are used by millions of customers worldwide, including at home.

Key responsibilities

• Develop REST APIs that support web and mobile applications.
• Create integrations with network device firmware and other UniFi OS applications.
• Participate in all development phases, from feature design to implementation and testing.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience developing Java applications.
• Strong understanding of SOLID principles.
• Experience in web application development.
• Familiarity with AI tools such as Claude or Codex.
• Fluent in English and Latvian.

• Java (versions 17/21).
• Spring Boot 3.2.
• MongoDB.
• GraalVM.
• Jenkins.
• REST API development.
• Bash and Unix.
