About the role

Rīgas satiksme is looking for motivated individuals aged 21 or older to join a paid training programme to become certified trolleybus drivers (TROL category). No B‑class driving licence is required. Successful candidates will start working as trolleybus operators after completing the training.

Key responsibilities

• Operate trolleybuses safely according to the public transport schedule.
• Ensure passenger safety and provide high‑quality customer service.
• Follow traffic regulations and company procedures.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and safety drills.

Required profile

• State language (Latvian) at B‑level (first stage) or education completed in Latvian.
• Emotional resilience and ability to work under stress.
• Willingness to work night shifts, split schedules and overtime when required.
• Commitment to work continuously for three years after training.
