About the role

The internship offers hands‑on experience with CNC milling equipment in a collaborative environment. It is designed for mechatronics or mechanical engineering students who want to deepen their practical knowledge while continuing their studies.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in loading programs onto CNC worktables and support initial quality checks of produced parts.
• Perform measurement tasks using calipers and micrometers and attach cutting tools and fixtures with the measurement system.
• Carry out simple preparation work before machining and cooperate with colleagues on assigned equipment groups.

Required profile

• Students from the 2nd year of bachelor studies in mechatronics or mechanical engineering, or vocational students from the 2nd year onward.
• Interest in learning new technologies and basic understanding of CNC milling principles.
• Ability to monitor equipment processes, conduct dimensional checks and maintain good Latvian language skills.

Required skills

• Use of measurement instruments such as calipers and micrometers.
• Basic knowledge of CNC milling machine operation.
