Intern - Asset Management and Pensions Companies

About the role

Luminor is looking for an intern in its Asset Management and Pensions Companies unit in Riga. The internship gives hands-on experience supporting investment products, pension solutions, financial analysis, reporting and business operations, and runs until 30 November 2027. It suits candidates interested in asset management, pension funds, investments and financial markets.

Key responsibilities

• Take part in Asset Management and Pension projects, providing support, data collection and analysis
• Handle administrative tasks related to pension agreements and applications and other documents
• Communicate directly with project stakeholders in the bank to obtain the input needed to complete tasks
• Plan and carry out personal tasks on time according to quality standards, budgets and Luminor values
• Contribute actively to the results of the department and the organisation
• Develop professional competencies independently and give constructive feedback to improve results

Required profile

• Currently studying for a university degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Mathematics, Statistics or a related field
• Genuine interest in asset management, pension funds, investments, financial markets or banking
• Strong analytical and numerical skills, with confidence working with data
• Detail-oriented, proactive and able to organise work and meet deadlines
• Fluent English and Latvian, spoken and written
• Primarily a candidate already living in the Baltics

Required skills

• Confident use of Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Data analysis and numerical skills
