Embedded Software Developer (Junior & Mid‑Senior) – Riga

About the role

Redwire Corporation is looking for motivated Embedded Software Developers to join its R&D team in Riga. You will design, develop and maintain firmware for electro‑optical systems, working closely with hardware, systems and test engineers in a fast‑paced, innovative environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop embedded software in C/C++ for microcontroller‑based platforms.
• Maintain software architecture and coding standards according to company guidelines.
• Manage source code using Git version control.
• Debug, test, verify and diagnose faults in embedded applications.
• Write drivers and interfaces for peripherals such as GPIO, ADC, UART, SPI, I²C, PWM and timers.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams throughout the product development lifecycle.
• Prepare and update technical documentation, including design specifications and test reports.
• Participate in validation, verification and continuous improvement activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electronics, Software Engineering or a related field.
• Relevant experience in embedded software development at the junior or mid‑senior level.
• Strong problem‑analysis and troubleshooting abilities.
• Effective communication skills and a collaborative team attitude.
