Electrical Works Manager – Construction Projects (Latvia)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Works Manager to lead the electrical scope of a large‑scale international construction project in Latvia. You will be responsible for coordinating design, installation, testing, commissioning and handover of all electrical systems.

Key responsibilities

• Manage electrical works from design coordination through testing, commissioning and handover.
• Coordinate electrical design reviews, shop drawings, technical submissions and RFIs.
• Supervise electrical subcontractors and installation teams, ensuring efficient site execution.
• Oversee procurement, material approvals and deliveries in line with project schedules.
• Monitor installation quality, productivity, progress and compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
• Lead inspections, testing, commissioning activities and prepare handover documentation.
• Identify and resolve technical issues, manage RFIs and ensure smooth coordination with other disciplines.
• Ensure compliance with Latvian regulations, HSE requirements and project standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 12 years of experience in electrical construction, preferably on large‑scale international projects.
• Strong knowledge of LV/MV systems, power distribution, lighting and ELV systems.
• Proven experience managing electrical subcontractors and installation teams.
• Good command of English; knowledge of Latvian regulations and HSE requirements is a plus.
