Electrical Design Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an Electrical Design Engineer to join our team in Riga. You will be responsible for designing both electronic and mechanical components of our industrial equipment, working from concept through to delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Design electronic parts such as electric motors, frequency converters, and control systems, as well as mechanical components using SolidWorks.
• Configure and adapt motor control systems, sensors and actuators to meet specific application requirements.
• Develop, analyse and test PLC programs for customer orders.
• Select suitable components and collaborate with suppliers and subcontractors.

Required profile

• Higher education degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Ability to work independently and take responsibility for assigned projects.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, with ability to work under pressure.

Required skills

• SolidWorks (design and drafting).
• Experience with Siemens, Allen‑Bradley, Omron, Schneider Electric controllers.
• PLC programming and configuration.
• Knowledge of motor control systems, sensors and actuators.
