Credit Risk Manager

About the role

Join Luminor as a Credit Risk Manager and help shape the risk framework for retail and small‑business lending across the Baltic region. You will work with cross‑functional teams to balance growth ambitions with disciplined credit risk management.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, assess and manage credit risks across retail and SME lending portfolios.
• Monitor portfolio performance and risk metrics, recommending actions to stay within risk appetite and achieve business targets.
• Design, automate and improve credit risk reporting, analytics and governance processes.
• Oversee credit risk tools, refine risk rule definitions, affordability and offer calculations to drive profitable growth.
• Provide requirements for lending automation projects and translate business needs into technical specifications.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in credit risk management within retail banking or SME lending.
• Strong background in credit policy, risk modeling or automated decision systems.
• Higher education in economics, finance, statistics, data science or a related field.
• Fluent in English and the local language, with the ability to work on Pan‑Baltic initiatives.

Required skills

• Proficiency with credit scoring models and risk engines.
• Data analysis using SQL and Python (or similar languages).
• Experience with data visualization tools, preferably Microsoft Power BI.
