Corporate Lawyer – Legal Department

About the role

Agrolats Group, one of Latvia’s largest capital‑based conglomerates, is looking for an experienced corporate lawyer to join its legal department. You will provide comprehensive legal support to a diversified portfolio of companies operating in agriculture, dairy, manufacturing, energy, real estate and services.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and give opinions on legal documents across the group’s entities.
• Provide legal advice to senior management and staff on the application of national legislation.
• Represent the group’s interests before individuals, companies, public authorities, courts and arbitration tribunals.
• Prepare and assess litigation filings such as claims, explanations, appeals and other court documents.
• Monitor legislative changes and inform colleagues on their practical impact.

Required profile

• Second‑level higher education in law and a qualified lawyer status.
• At least 3 years of professional experience in a legal specialist role.
• Preferably experience representing corporate interests in court.
• Strong analytical abilities, high responsibility and precision in work.
• Excellent communication and argumentation skills; ability to work both independently and in a team.
• Fluent Latvian (high level) and English for cooperation with foreign partners.
• Proficient computer user and holder of a Category B driving licence.
