Compliance & Legal Manager

About the role

Eleving Group, a fast‑growing international fintech focused on vehicle and consumer finance, is seeking an experienced Compliance & Legal Manager to lead its legal and compliance function for the Mogo & Primero business units. You will ensure the company operates within all applicable laws and regulations while supporting business growth across 17 countries.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the legal and compliance function, developing policies, procedures and frameworks.
• Ensure compliance with Latvian, EU and other relevant regulatory requirements.
• Identify, assess and manage legal and compliance risks.
• Provide practical legal advice to management and business teams.
• Oversee contracts, legal documentation and regulatory matters.
• Coordinate with regulators, external legal advisors and other stakeholders.
• Promote a strong compliance culture throughout the organisation.

Required profile

• University degree in Law.
• Solid experience in legal and compliance roles, preferably within the financial sector.
• Strong knowledge of Latvian and EU regulatory requirements.
• Proven ability to manage legal and compliance risks.
• Excellent analytical, decision‑making and problem‑solving abilities.
• Fluent in Latvian and English.
