CNC Milling Machine Operator

About the role

RedWire Defense Tech Riga is looking for an experienced CNC Milling Machine Operator to manufacture and process parts according to technical drawings, inspect dimensions and quality, and support the final assembly process.

Key responsibilities

• Manufacture parts of various shapes according to technical drawings.
• Inspect part dimensions and quality.
• Support the final assembly process by checking and preparing components according to technical documentation.
• Set up and operate CNC machines.
• Prepare parts according to work orders.
• Monitor machine operation and maintain equipment in proper technical condition.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a CNC machine operator.
• Ability to set up CNC machines according to technical drawings.
• Ability to read technical drawings.
• Experience in manufacturing high‑precision parts (preferred).
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Latvian language skills; English also preferred.

Required skills

• Operation of 4‑axis Okuma milling centre with OSP control.
• Operation of 5‑axis Mikron 600 U milling centre with Heidenhain control.
• Operation of DOOSAN LYNX 2100LSYB CNC lathe with FANUC control.
• FANUC CNC programming knowledge.
