CNC Milling Machine Operator

About the role

Redwire Corporation’s Defense Tech division in Riga is seeking an experienced CNC Milling Machine Operator to produce high‑precision components for UAV and electro‑optical surveillance systems. You will work with advanced multi‑axis CNC equipment, follow technical drawings, and support final assembly processes.

Key responsibilities

• Manufacture parts of various shapes using 4‑axis and 5‑axis CNC milling centers.
• Set up, operate, and monitor CNC machines according to work orders.
• Inspect dimensions and quality of finished parts.
• Prepare components for final assembly and ensure documentation compliance.
• Maintain equipment in proper technical condition.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a CNC machine operator.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Latvian language proficiency; English is a plus.

• Okuma OSP control system.
• Mikron Heidenhain control system.
• Doosan FANUC control system.
• Technical drawing interpretation.
• FANUC programming (advantage).
