Clinical Team Lead

About the role

We are looking for a Clinical Team Lead to own the clinical operations of assigned projects at Rho, a CRO that values curiosity and collaboration. This permanent remote position involves guiding CRAs, ensuring compliance with protocols and regulations, and supporting the delivery of high‑quality study data.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end clinical execution of projects of moderate complexity, ensuring adherence to protocols, timelines, and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee recruitment, study metrics monitoring, documentation, and site performance, escalating issues and implementing corrective actions.
• Provide direction, training, and performance oversight to CRAs assigned to the project.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams such as data management, regulatory, and safety to achieve study deliverables.
• Develop and maintain project timelines, resource plans, budgets, and metrics; track and reconcile clinical monitoring budgets.
• Identify risks, communicate them to stakeholders, and lead mitigation strategies.
• Support RFP preparation, budget development, and response narrative creation as needed.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing clinical operations projects up to moderate complexity.
• Strong understanding of ICH/GCP guidelines and applicable federal regulations.
• Experience supervising and training Clinical Research Associates.
• Ability to work remotely with occasional travel for site visits and client meetings.
