Broadcast Systems Specialist

About the role

Playtech Live Latvia, a subsidiary of Playtech, provides live gaming services to major gaming operators and has a team of 1,900 colleagues in Latvia. It is looking for a Broadcast Systems Specialist who is passionate about audio, video and streaming technologies and wants to work in a dynamic environment where their solutions ensure high-quality live broadcasts and smooth studio operations.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure and maintain audio, video and streaming systems.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues so systems stay running continuously.
• Take part in studio setup, modernization and technical development projects.
• Perform audio/video signal routing, system integration and testing.
• Monitor the availability and quality of broadcast systems.
• Test and implement new technical solutions, hardware and software.
• Prepare technical documentation, maintain system standards and share knowledge with colleagues.
• Work with vendors, partners and internal teams to deliver efficient, high-quality solutions.

Required profile

• Experience working with audio, video, broadcast, streaming or similar technical systems.
• Understanding of audio/video signal flows, streaming technologies and related protocols.
• Experience installing, configuring and troubleshooting hardware and software.
• Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Good communication skills and English sufficient to work with international business partners and read technical documentation.
• Nice to have: knowledge of any programming language, higher or vocational secondary education in a technical field, and experience with professional broadcast or multimedia systems.

• Basic knowledge of Windows and/or Linux operating systems.
• Audible, video and streaming systems.
